Information & Communications Technology
Students are taught to be confident in their use of computers and in the latest developments in hardware and software. They are taught how to use the computer to further their own understanding, and as a tool in problem-solving. Their ability to apply their IT and ICT capability to support their use of language and communication in other areas is also developed and encouraged.
Information Technology is taught from the earliest years and, quite apart from our specialist computer suites, school subject rooms and all tutorial classrooms, including KG, have computers available for teaching, all of which are networked.
All of our computers are connected to the internet via a fast DSL link, enabling students to gain access to a wealth of information.
