It has been a fun packed week celebrating our love for reading at TES. Exciting daily competitions ran such as, guess the teacher reading, design a book cover and a reading photo challenge. Pupils have loved their DEAR time (drop everything and read) which has been at a surprise time each day in addition to the individual year team activities!
Today is World Book Day and we have fancy dress parades, a whole school Readathon challenge and a treasure hunt BBQ planned! As a school we are very passionate about reading all year round, but have especially enjoyed the opportunity to come together to take part in this global celebration
