U13 Girls Volleyball Final
TES 0 - 2 NES
FSIS was to be the venue for this year’s ISACK Girls U13 Volleyball final, against NES. The TES girls knew the match would be tough. NES had beaten the girls in the group stages earlier in the season, giving the NES squad a psychological advantage going into the final.
The TES girls started off well, taking a 7-3 lead in the first set. But NES came back fighting, playing some good three touch volleyball to eventually win the set 25-18. In the second set, the girls improved their game, using 3 touches more frequently and serving well. The set was nip and tuck and could have gone either way. The TES girls did their best, but unfortunately today wasn't the girls day. The girls lost the second set 25-19, making NES the 2016 volleyball ISACK champions. Congratulations to NES and well done the TES team.
It was a great achievement by the girls to make the final and the girls should be proud of their hard work and dedication. It has been a great year all round and you have been excellent ambassadors for TES - well done!
