Over the February half-term Mrs Peterson and Mr Hamilton-Turner led a group of 19 children to the Swiss resort of Verbier for a week of skiing in the Alps. Verbier is a beautiful resort and we arrived full of energy and excitement for the week ahead. Luckily there had been a fresh falling of snow the week before and the sunshine was forecast for the week, which made for perfect skiing conditions. During the day the children were split into small groups for an action-packed day of skiing, with their excellent instructors, and in the evenings a whole range of activities were laid on for the children to participate in. The week was concluded with a BBQ on the mountain and ski races, which were won by Ella Peterson, 2nd was Eve Peterson and 3rd was Lily Turner Love. A fantastic week was had by all and many children are already looking forward to next year’s trip.
