ISACK
U13 Boys Volleyball
The U13 boys volleyball team played BSK this week in the 3rd game of the ISACK season. The boys were determined to get back to winning ways after defeat against NES last week. In a super first set, the boys took control and won easily 25-11. Warner Bartlema, in particular, served very well. In the 2nd set TES took a commanding lead which enabled lots of substitutions to be made. BSK to their credit fought back to 21-21 but TES stayed strong and won the 2nd set 25-21 to win the game 2 sets to 0. Next week the boys play KES in an important game which will have a big bearing on the seedings for the semi finals.
KFSAC
KFSAC Swimming Gala
On Wednesday, 26th March the 2nd KFSAC gala took place at TES. Eight schools took part and lots of parents and supporters gathered to watch the races. The schools competed in Y3/4/5/6 girls and boys events. All of the TES swimmers were fantastic and produced some outstanding performances. The TES swimmers dominated the individual events and in the eight relays that took place TES competitors were victorious in all of them. It was great to see the talented TES swimmers in action and Miss Chal and her team were extremely proud of the efforts of every pupil. The overall results were not announced after the gala as the 2nd KFSAC gala results need to be added to the 1st KFSAC gala results from earlier in the year to calculate the overall champions for 2013/2014. TES have an 80 point lead after the 1st gala and with the excellent performances from the TES swimmers it would be a surprise if the team are not crowned overall champions. The results are due to be announced in the next few days.
