Super start to the ISACK Boys Football and Girls Volleyball Seasons
ISACK U13 Boys Football
This week the boys took on ESF in the first match of the season at Hasan Abul pitches. TES started the game well and were in control for most of the first half. Mid way through the first half after a few chances had gone begging Brian Al Saleh opened the scoring with a superb finish from the edge of the box. TES spurned further opportunities to extend their lead and at half time the score remained 1-0. In the second half TES again took control. Brian Al Saleh finished superbly to make the score 2-0 and then shortly after he scored again to complete his hat trick. Amazingly Brian then added another two goals and completed his double-hat trick to make the score 6-0! On the stroke of full time captain Alex McEwan struck to make the score 7-0 to TES. A great start to the season and a very good performance from the boys. Brian Al Saleh was named man of the match after a quite superb special performance. Next week the boys take on KES in what promises to be an exciting encounter.
ISACK U13 Girls Volleyball
The girls volleyball squad played host to TEA this week in the first match of the U13 girls volleyball season. TES started brightly and served well in the first set, winning the set 25-14. In the 2nd set TEA fought hard and produced some good volleyball. Down 13-14 TES then won the serve back and Cameron Uys stepped forward to serve 10 points in a row to take TES into a commanding position at 24-13. TES secured the 2nd set 25-14 and overall victory to make a promising start to the season.
KFSAC Y5/6 Football
On Wednesday 25th September TES played BSK in a friendly ahead of the upcoming KFSAC football season. The game was played at BSK. It was a good test for the TES squad and gave the coaches the opportunity to try a few things out and put the hard work during the training sessions into practice. TES A team played very well and recorded a 4-2 victory. Patrick Young, Archie Pearson and Brian Al Saleh 2 were the TES scorers. The B team played some good football but lost out 2-0 to the only shots to come from BSK. It was however an overall good team performance from TES and sets the team up well with two games next week in the KFSAC league against KES and BSK.
