KFSAC Swimming Gala
Last Wednesday on the 26th March eight schools competed in the second KFSAC swimming gala of the year. There were some superb races watched by a large number of spectators. The TES swimmers were fantastic, all of the pupils involved achieved excellent results and TES were triumphant in all the eight relays at the end. In all four categories (Y3/4 Boys, Y3/4 Girls, Y5/6 Boys and Y5/6 Girls) TES came 1st place which meant that overall TES were crowned champions with a huge total of 300.5 points. KES were 2nd with 191 points and GES 3rd with 146 points. It was an outstanding performance from the swim squad and all of the pupils involved should be very proud of their achievements. Well done to: Sara Hajjar, Kathryn Park, Amy O Kane, Anika Palacious, Jack Boesley, Max Boesley, Omar Al Huneidi, Rasmus Castella, Darcy Highmore, Pollyanna Paterson, Emma Luna, Elspeth Blake James, Basil Tuma, Matthew Cooper, Manno Ayman, Truman Heath, Christian Sutton and Sam Boesley.
ISACK
U13 Boys Volleyball
This week the U13 boys volleyball team played KES in the 4th game of the season. The boys were determined to win the game and started very well. They led throughout the 1st set and although KES fought back TES saw the set out 25-22. TES controlled the 2nd set and the boys played some very good three touch play to win convincingly 25-15. A run of serves from Yousef Abul Enein paved the way for the victory. Ethan Doughty also performed extremely well for the team. Next week the boys play their final group game away to ESF in what could be a very tricky game before the semi finals take place after the Easter break.
U13 Girls Basketball
The U13 girls also played KES this week in the 3rd game of the ISACK basketball season. The girls started very well and at the end of the 1st quarter led 10-1. Hannah Mathew and Farah Du Lieu in particular, scoring some excellent baskets. At half time TES increased their lead to 25-8 with all of the TES squad contributing. At the end of the 3rd quarter the girls had increased the lead to 34-10 and the game ended with a score of 45-13 to TES. It was an excellent performance and all of the girls played very well. Next week the girls have two games, against BSK at home on Sunday and ESF at home on Tuesday. The BSK game in particular promises to be an exciting match and will be a very tough game for the TES squad.
