It has been an exceptional term of sport for TES teams. In both the ISACK and KFSAC competitions that the school enters, TES squads have competed superbly well and collected a great deal of silverware throughout this first term.
ISACK (U13 age Group)

In ISACK the boys and girls have competed exceptionally well and have produced some fantastic results. The girls have had a fabulous term and after winning 6 out of 6 games during the netball season beat NES 19-6 in the final to defend their title from last year and win the championship.
The girls also won the table tennis competition for a 4th year in a row and won the girls football competition. They also finished in 2nd place in the swimming gala. The boys have had an equally superb start to the year. After winning 5 out of 5 games in their football season they were beaten in extra time in the semi final 2-1 by BSK. However, the week after the boys beat all of the opposition in the 5 a side football tournament to lift the trophy. The boys were absolutely dominant in the swimming gala, winning by a huge 50 points. They also finished 2nd place in the annual table tennis competition. The second ISACK seasons are now underway with TES boys basketball team winning their three games so far very convincingly and the girls volleyball team also winning both fixtures so far. Well done to everybody involved, a great start to the year for our U13 teams.

They went unbeaten all season, winning 6 games out of 6 in the league and completing the double with victory in the one day cup tournament, winning 4-2 in the final against KES. The B squad finished in 2nd place in the league after a great season. This year TES also ran a C football team who trained all term to develop their skills. The girls have been equally impressive. They were quite superb in the girls benchball tournament and won all of their games in the group stages convincingly. They then won their semi final by a huge margin and beat NES in the final 7-0. This is the 4th year in a row the girls have won the tournament. The girls Y5/6 football team also finished 3rd in the annual tournament. The Y3/4 boys and girls unihoc teams also competed very well in their annual competitions. The boys A team finished in 3rd place and the B team won the competition. Thank you to everyone who has helped to run a sports ECA this term and to all of the coaches who have taken a squad. The love for sport at the school is as strong as ever and it is great to see such a high percentage of children taking part in sport in either a sports team or during an ECA after school. The ECA programme is the foundation to the success we have with our sports teams and builds the enthusiasm amongst the children. Term 2 is extremely busy and promises to be just as exciting. The U13 squad take part in the BSME Games in January and the U11 squad travel to Dubai for their BSME Games in March. Well done to everybody involved and good luck for term 2.
