U13 Girls Basketball
TES 68 - 5 TEA
On Tuesday the U13 girls basketball team played their first fixture of the season against TEA at home. The girls had trained hard in the weeks leading up to the game and put in an excellent performance. From the off the girls were superb and led 22-0 at the end of the first quarter. It was brilliant to watch and was just reward for the girls hard work in training. At half time the girls had a commanding lead and it meant that all of the subs were able to play a large amount of the game. The score finished 68-5 to TES with Millie voted as player of the match. However, all of the girls were superb. Next week the squad face a tough game away against KES.

Y3/4 B squad Unihoc report from Mr Watts
Wednesday 18th November
This was a great tournament for the Year 3-4 Unihoc B team. The format saw the boys play against TEP, ATIS and NIS in a group consisting of 7 minute matches. The pitch felt quite small and this lead to a lot of frantic play but the boys settled quickly and overcame TEP 4-3 with 2 goals each for Haydn and Felix. The second match was against ATIS and this proved to be a tight battle. Robbie played well as goalkeeper and kept ATIS at bay, while Haydn managed to poach a goal to secure a tense 1-0 victory. NIS were the opponents in the final group game and TES played very well and produced a fantastic 4-0 win. Felix grabbed a hat-trick and Haydn the other goal.
3 wins out of 3 meant that TES were group winners and they would then face off against ESF in the semi-final. Great play between all players saw them to an easy 5-0 win with Felix again grabbing a hat-trick and Haydn and Oliver getting one each. TES were now set to play NES in the final.
The final was tight and scrappy and NES scored early. TES had to battle hard and, after having a goal disallowed, managed to grab the equaliser from a good shot from Felix. As time started to run out a great corner move from Florian lead to Felix grabbing a second goal for TES. His shot squeezing in, just out of the reach of the keeper. The final bell rang a few seconds later and the TES B team were crowned champions, 2-1. A great team performance all round. *Well done to Felix, Florian, Haydn, Oliver and Robbie.
